高大連携を行いました。

5月30日、常盤木学園高等学校から31名の生徒が東北大学を訪問しました。午前中、高校生たちは東北大学中央図書館を訪問しました。訪問中、図書館職員が生徒たちに図書館の歴史と利用方法に関する講義を行いました。その後、生徒たちは図書館の施設と機能に慣れるための見学ツアーに参加しました。午後には、教育学研究科のグローバル教育コースの劉靖准教授が「多文化理解」に関する講義を行い、日本での留学経験について共有しました。また、教育学研究科の日本人学生1名と中国人学生2名が、海外留学の興味深い経験や、留学中および留学後の変化について話しました。最後に、高校生たちは東北大学の学生から、言語の壁を乗り越える方法や海外留学の準備について学ぶため、積極的に質問を投げかけました。

これは、常盤木学園高等学校と共同でこの交流活動を主催する3度目の機会です。私たちの共有が、高校生たちの将来の海外留学の旅に少しでも役立てば幸いです。  このイベントへのご協力に、東北大学中央図書館のスタッフ、瀧口綾音、魏依敏、牛卓彦に特別な感謝を申し上げます！ 

 

University-High School Collaboration

On May 30, we welcome 31 students from Tokiwagi Gakuen High School to visit Tohoku University. In the morning, high school students visited Tohoku University Central Library. During the visit, the library staff delivered a lecture about history and how to use the library to the students. After that, students took a tour to get familiar with the facilities and functions of library. In the afternoon, Prof. Jing Liu from Global Education Course, provided a lecture on Multi-culture understanding and shared his experiences of overseas studies in Japan. One Japanese student and two Chinese students shared their interesting experiences of studying overseas and their transformation during and after the overseas study experiences. In the end, high school students actively raised questions to learn from Tohoku University students about how to overcome language barrier and how to prepare for overseas studies.

It is our third time to collaborate with Tokiwagi Gakuen High School to jointly host this exchange activities. We wish our sharing could be any help for high school students for their exciting overseas study journey in the future. Our special gratitude to staff at Tohoku University Central Library, Ms. Ayane Takiguchi, Ms. Yimin Wei, and Mr. Zhuoyan Niu for their collaboration for this event!
